	GARNET The Global Applied Research Network (GARNET) is concerned with applied research in the water supply and sanitation sector for developing countries. It links research workers throughout the world and provides a mechanism for information exchange in the water supply and sanitation sector using low-cost, informal networks of researchers, practitioners and organisations funding research. You can join or form a group in your own interest area.
	Gender and Water Alliance The Gender and Water Alliance is a network of organisations and individuals working to mainstream gender in integrated water resources management. The website has a training section which promises to develop and implement new, improved and tailored methodologies and tools for training and capacity building related to gender.
	International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance The International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA) was created during the World Summit for Sustainable Development (WSSD). IRHA’s vision is safe freshwater for sustainable livelihoods and ecosystem conservation in all regions of the world. The mission of the Alliance is to promote rainwater harvesting initiatives worldwide and other alternative technologies to access and preserve freshwater.
