VSA recruiting more teachers to awarenet

On Friday 15/2/13, Dr Sarah Hanton, trustee of the VSA and awarenet coordinator, organised a presentation about the possibilities of awarenet to the staff of VG High School in Grahamtown to recruit more teachers into the programme. Terri-Lynn Penney, Viv Quin and Richard Strickland were also present to give individual support during the meeting.

The presentation went well - many teachers were motivated and asked a lot of questions on how to integrate awarenet into their teaching, e.g. while discussing content maths teachers asked if Geogebra could be included (which we investigated immediately), English teachers started a creative writing project and the hockey coach is going to start a group on awarenet.

This is a supercool outcome! We are looking forward to progress and developments on awarenet. Thank you very much everyone!
