Awarenet, in collaboration with Rhodes University Mathematics Education Project, conducted an Olico Maths workshop on Thursday the 5th of June. The aim of the workshop was to equip the Awarenet maths tutors with knowledge of different methods of teaching maths to grade 7 and 8 learners in the South African context. These workshops will be conducted throughout the remainder of the year, making sure that the learners in our blended online-offline maths program receive quality teaching from our young and enthusiastic tutors!
