Terri-Lynn Penney, the VSA’s main awarenet coordinator was a nominee for the Grahamstown Citizen of the Year award in November 2013 for her outstanding engagement in education and social development of underprivileged learners in Joza. The Rotary Club of Grahamstown invited her to a short ceremony to recognise her nomination and the work that she does.
The event took place at the Graemian Centre on Monday 23 February 2014 at 6pm where all nominees for the 2013 Citizen of the Year Award were celebrated. Everyone received a certificate, there was time to network and learn more about he other nominees’ work.
We are very proud of Terri-Lynn Penney, who puts more than 100% into her job. She is very dedicated and we know that without her, awarenet would not be used as it is. She is part of a fantastic and successful team. Congratulations!
