RU Community Engagement lists very specific criteria that have to be fulfilled.

They describe Nosie as such: “Nosiphiwe has been an active volunteer in and outside of Rhodes. Founding the Young Minds Programme, she later joined the Masisukume Career Information and Youth Development Program in the Mount Frere area. Numerous nominees stated that Nosiphiwe has worked with numerous CBO’s in Grahamstown, contributing her time and valuable skills to assisting in various areas of youth development.”
