As Anna mentioned in her post of the 26. of February, VSA was looking for two new volunteers to join the awarenet team in Grahamstown. And here we are!
Our names are Julia (Julia’s blog) and Lukas. Julia is 23 years old and was born in Austria. Three years ago she moved to Munich for her work. My name is Lukas and I’m 25 years old. I was born near Hamburg and I’m still living in this area.
On the 25. of June we went to Berlin to visit Anna in her lovely home to do a preparation course about SA in general and our tasks for the next year in particular. We learned a lot of interesting things and had a great time getting to know each other and the VSA organisation as well as her adorable family.
We are quiet exited to start our journey and can’t wait to meet all the other people in SA we heard so much about.
