We have many plans for the new year and did not hesitate to get started. The kids are back at school and we are back at the office. Many of our learners from last year have finished school or went to another school which means that at the moment we are busy recruiting new students who are keen and committed to learn about awarenet and be part of the programme. The topic of the first term depends on our learner’s knowledge of computers as many do not have a lot of experience with either computers or awarenet. During the first term, we will mainly focus on explaining the platform to the learner’s and to assess their computer skills.
At the same time, we are busy organising the Joza Youth Hub Fun Day and Bazaar with our partners at the JYH which is taking place on the 6th of February so SAVE THE DATE! We will have an information stand where you can learn about awarenet, meet the team and sign up for the programme. There will be food, drinks, arts and crafts and good music!
