Anna Wertlen presented the ECSPIRT Project and VSA’s awareNet programme in front of the panel of judges at the final round of the Impumelelo Social Innovations Awards last Thursday, the 12th of July 2012, in Cape Town.
The discussion following the presentation was very fruitful, and it seemed as if many of the judges had a good insight of the work we are doing for social development in South Africa. We hope that our project and input is indeed as fruitful as many of the other projects that deserve an award. Only in September we will know the result when all applicants will be invited to Cape Town for the awards ceremony.
Hold your thumbs with us as this award would help the awareNet programme a lot to become more established and hopefully well-funded. 🙂
