The Joza Youth Hub has its own aerial mast now!

We are proud to announce that last Saturday, the aerial mast at the Joza Youth Hub was erected to serve the partners in the Hub and their customers – the learners of Joza, Grahamstown.

The 12 m mast is a 165 kg galvanised steel lattice. The partners in the Joza Hub will use it to install their antennas for Internet, mesh networks and other purposes.

The mast was erected by a team of members from Access Music, Rhodes University and eKhaya ICT. Thank you for the incredible hard work and endurance! Rhodes University will connect it by cable, after which all partners are allowed to climb up for installation themselves, if they dare. 😉

Our partners from eKhaya ICT have already tested the line of sight for our connection to town.

Exciting news for us. We hope, for you, too!
