During the last month Max and I were meeting again in little Wortelgat (near Hermanus) in the Western Cape. I was already on leave and enjoyed some time together with my parents when we had to meet for our SAGE-NET. mid-term seminar. We have not seen the volunteers since New Years Eve so were both looking forward to see all of them again and spend some time together talking about our experiences so far. More than 7 months are over and everyone was packed with stories waiting to be shared. It was beyond exciting to see how everyone changed in a positive way and developed personally.
Our seminar started on Friday the 16th of March with a lot of welcome hugs from Gauteng, Cape Town and the Eastern Cape. All together we stayed in a beautiful little camp and Team Eastern Cape shared one unit consisting of bedrooms and bathrooms.
We discussed a lot of different topics ranging from our motivation and how it changed from our departure in Germany until now. Heated debates, long talks, creative time, beach walks and fun describes our time quiet good.
We had much time to reflect what we’ve done and achieved in our projects.
With personal goals which we’ve set ourselves Max and I are ready to enjoy our last months in beautiful South Africa.
