On the 5th of November the C.M. Vellem Grade 9s celebrated their farewell at the Makana resort in Grahamstown. Because VSA worked with the learners for the last three years we were invited to participate in the ceremony. On the 19th of October the Rhodes University Community Engagement (RUCE) department invited VSA to participate in the annual planning meeting. The Joza Youth Hub hosted an open discussion session on the 10th of October about social work and ECD with the guest speaker Janet Jobson. She is a well known coordinater for the DG Murray Trust in Cape Town.
